Choosing a tiny home pod
Use these points to compare your options and prepare for a tailored quote.
Start with how you will use the space
Think about who will use the pod, how often it will be occupied and whether you need separate sleeping, living or work areas. Compare the floor plan as well as the overall size, including storage, bathroom space and room to move around furniture.
Compare fixed and expandable designs
A fixed pod keeps its main footprint, while an expandable design opens out to create more space. Check both transport and installed dimensions, the clearance needed around the pod, and whether the chosen model is compatible with a trailer. Trailer suitability is model-specific.
Plan access, setup and connections
Tell us about driveway width, slopes, overhead obstacles and the proposed position. Ask for a written quote showing the pod, delivery, placement, supports, service connections and any selected extras. Availability and timing depend on the model and your location.
Check suitability before committing
Discuss your intended use and property requirements with the relevant council or certifier before ordering. A portable design or trailer does not by itself establish that a particular use is permitted. If you are considering a permanent dwelling, compare our Class 1a range and confirm the requirements for your site.
