Our 12-Month Workmanship & Materials Warranty
At Tiny Home Pods, we stand behind the quality of our construction. We are proud to offer a comprehensive 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in both our workmanship and the materials we use.
Warranty is non-transferable. Warranty for electrical or plumbing related issues will only be honoured if the customer has used a licensed tradesperson for the installation.
What Our Warranty Covers:
If a defect arises during the 12-month warranty period due to faulty workmanship or materials, Tiny Home Pods will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component at no cost to you. This includes the reasonable cost of labour required to rectify the issue. Our warranty covers:
- Structural Integrity: The frame, floor, walls, and roof structure.
- Weatherproofing: Ensuring the pod is waterproof against leaks from roofing, windows, and doors due to installation error.
- Fixtures, Fittings & Joinery: The function of all items installed by Tiny Home Pods, including cabinetry, plumbing fixtures (taps, showerheads), and electrical fittings (outlets, switches).
The Warranty Claims Process:
- Notification: Please notify us in writing as soon as you discover a potential issue.
- Assessment: We may request photos or videos to assess the issue remotely. For complex issues, we may arrange a site inspection.
- Action: Once a claim is validated as a defect covered by this warranty, Tiny Home Pods will coordinate the repair or replacement using our own team or a qualified tradesperson of our choosing.
Warranty Exclusions & Conditions:
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage arising from normal wear and tear, fading, or minor cosmetic issues.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, or failure to perform reasonable maintenance.
- Damage caused by unauthorised modifications, alterations, or repairs.
- Damage caused by pests, fire, flood, wind, or other natural disasters (these should be covered by your own insurance).
- Third-Party Appliances: Items such as air conditioners, hot water systems, and refrigerators are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. We will happily assist you by providing proof of purchase and contact details to facilitate your claim with the manufacturer.
- Plumbing: To ensure warranty validity on all plumbing fixtures, pressure-limiting valves must be installed and maintained on all water inlets as per our initial installation.
- Coastal & Marine Environments: For pods located in coastal or marine environments (typically within 1km of breaking surf or 100m of salt water estuaries), specific maintenance schedules must be adhered to. Furthermore, certain materials (e.g., cladding, steel fixings) may have a reduced warranty period from their manufacturer in these environments
- Please note that the tarpaulin roof seal, being a component subject to significant environmental exposure and wear, has an expected lifespan that may be shorter than other structural elements. Our 12-month express warranty does not cover degradation or failure of the tarpaulin due to normal wear and tear or exposure to extreme weather conditions, beyond its initial manufacturing quality

Our Delivery Process
Getting your Tiny Home Pod to you safely is our top priority. We offer two clear options for delivery so you can choose the service that best suits your needs.
Option 1: Fully Managed & Insured Delivery
For complete peace of mind, we recommend our fully managed delivery service. Our team handles everything from start to finish, including:
- Booking and coordinating with our trusted, professional drivers.
- Managing all logistics and scheduling.
- Assuming full responsibility for your pod until it arrives safely on your property. Our management service includes transit insurance covering any potential damage during the journey.
There is a $250 fee for this comprehensive management service, in addition to the direct cost of freight.
Site Preparation & Delivery Conditions
To ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of your Tiny Home Pod, it is essential that your designated site meets the following conditions prior to the delivery driver’s arrival:
Clear and Safe Access: The delivery path and final placement area must be clear, free from obstructions, and safely accessible for heavy transport vehicles and equipment.
Level and Prepared Foundation: If you are using pavers, piers, or other foundations, they must be fully installed, stable, and perfectly level across the entire footprint of the pod’s base.
Suitable Ground Conditions: The ground must be firm, stable, and not excessively muddy or soft, especially around the immediate placement area. Adverse weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, strong winds) may necessitate a postponement of delivery for safety and product integrity. We reserve the right to reschedule deliveries under such conditions.
Driver’s Discretion & Additional Charges:
Our delivery service is for the safe arrival, unloading, and positioning of your Tiny Home Pod at your prepared site. The delivery driver is contracted for a standard timeframe to complete this task.
If the delivery driver is delayed or unable to complete the delivery efficiently due to reasons relating to the customer or the site (e.g., poor access, unlevel foundation, unsuitable ground conditions, or lack of customer assistance as agreed), the following will apply:
Additional Time Charges: Any time spent by the driver beyond the standard unloading period, due to such delays, will be charged to you at an hourly rate. These additional charges are payable directly to the driver on the day of delivery.
Driver’s Right to Limit Service: In situations where site conditions are unsafe or significantly impede the efficient and safe placement of the pod, the driver is within their right to:
Unload the pod as close as safely possible to the designated site.
Unload the pod onto the prepared foundation, even if it is not perfectly level (with the understanding that this may affect subsequent assembly or void aspects of your installation responsibility, as outlined in your warranty).
Refuse to move the pod beyond the initial safe unloading point if conditions make it unsafe or impractical.
Return the pod to the depot, incurring a re-delivery fee payable by the customer.
By accepting delivery, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. We strongly advise against booking electricians, plumbers, or other trades until your Tiny Home Pod has been physically delivered, positioned, and fully extended (if applicable), as delivery dates can be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., shipping delays, weather, road conditions).
Option 2: Self-Organised Delivery
You are welcome to arrange your own freight and delivery. If you choose this option, you will contract directly with the driver of your choice. You will be responsible for managing logistics, payment, and arranging your own transit insurance. Our responsibility for the pod ends once it is loaded onto your chosen courier’s vehicle at our location. Note: a hiab crane truck is required not a tilt tray.
Storage Policy
We are excited to get your new Tiny Home Pod to you! The final step in our process is ensuring a smooth and timely delivery. To make this clear for everyone, please review our policies regarding delivery scheduling and what happens if you are unavailable to receive your pod.
1. Notification of Completion
Once the construction of your Tiny Home Pod is complete and it has passed our final quality inspection, we will notify you in writing (via email) and/or by phone. This notification marks the official “Completion Date.”
2. Complimentary Storage Period
We understand that you may need some time to prepare for your new arrival. Tiny Home Pods provides a complimentary 14-day storage period for your completed pod, commencing from the Completion Date.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for delivery or collection of the pod within this 14-day timeframe.
3. Storage Fees for Delayed Delivery
Should you be unable to accept delivery or arrange collection of your pod for any reason after the 14-day complimentary period has expired, a storage fee will be incurred to cover the cost of securely holding your pod at our facility.
- Our storage fee is $125 per week, billed in weekly increments (or part thereof).
- Storage fees will begin to accrue on the 15th day after the Completion Date.
- All accrued storage fees must be paid in full before your pod can be released for final delivery or collection.
Example: If your pod is ready on June 1st, you have until June 15th to take delivery. If you delay your delivery until June 25th, you would incur two weeks of storage fees (1 week for June 16-22, and 1 week for June 23-25), totalling $250.
4. Abandoned Goods
While we hope it never happens, we must have a policy for long-term storage. In the event that a pod remains in storage for more than 90 days beyond the complimentary 14-day period without a formal written arrangement and payment plan in place, Tiny Home Pods may deem the pod to be abandoned.
In this instance, we reserve the right, in accordance with the Uncollected Goods Act of New South Wales, to sell the pod to recover the original outstanding balance, accrued storage fees, and any associated selling costs.
RETURNS
Due to the nature of the products, there are no returns.
