A Day in Broke, NSW: Tiny Homes, Mead, and Design Inspiration

We often get asked what the daily routine looks like at the Tiny Home Pods headquarters in Broke. The truth is, when we’re not helping clients design their dream modular spaces or expanding our display models, we tend to be quite busy contributing to the local Hunter Valley entrepreneurial scene.

We wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the “family” of businesses that share the Tiny Home Pods philosophy of quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.

The Meadery: Where Tradition Meets Taste

Just a stone’s throw from our pod display is our other major passion project: Honey Wines Australia

If you are planning a visit to Broke to see our tiny homes in person, we highly recommend making a day of it and stopping by the meadery. Honey Wines Australia is a dedicated craft meadery (making honey wine). We specialise in traditional meads and unique, fermented flavour profiles. It’s the perfect way to finish a morning of exploring alternative housing solutions—by supporting another unique Hunter Valley local business.

ExoTiles: Designing for Impact (Even in Small Spaces)

One of the critical components of making a 20m² or 40m² pod feel like a luxury home is the selection of materials. This is where our expertise at ExoTiles becomes invaluable.

ExoTiles is our specialty mosaic tile business, focusing on unique materials that are otherwise hard to find in Australia, such as stainless steel mosaic tiles and other distinctive splashback designs.

Many clients utilise the insights and product range from ExoTiles when they are customising the kitchenettes or bathrooms of their Tiny Home Pods.

Building a Better Hunter Valley

We love being based in Broke. For us, Tiny Home Pods isn’t just about selling a structure; it’s about offering a way to live a more flexible, creative life. We approach mead-making at Honey Wines and material sourcing at ExoTiles with that same creative drive.

The next time you’re in the area to view a pod, don’t just see the home—experience the full “Jackson Group” vision of what local Hunter Valley innovation looks like.

We look forward to welcoming you!
